The Bighill Creek Preservation Society (BCPS) has benefited greatly from the Toronto Dominion, Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD-FEF) grant to the BRBC for purchase of field equipment to monitor streams in the Bow basin. We (BCPS) have used the equipment to monitor 10 sites in the Bighill Creek watershed (west of Calgary) monthly. Without the field equipment we would be severely challenged to carryout the field sampling, to add good data, good science to the work of the Society. The data produced is now, and will continue to be incorporated in the publicly available Bighill Creek State of the Watershed report.
With gratitude we thank TD-FEF!
