A new sign urging caution when driving in the 4 km wildlife corridor recently appeared near the junction of Hwy 567 and Range Road 40. The sign was installed mid October 2023 and is close to the access to ongoing excavations by Mt. Ash’s Summit gravel pit. Concerns for wildlife in the area have grown as traffic levels have increased.
